Hi! I’m Mirko, the owner of Housetoo.
I started this activity in 2008, with my sister’s apartment. Now Housetoo is my primary activity. I really enjoy being in contact with new people, helping them to find all the secret places that are unwritten on the local guides. I like to give indications on tours, restaurants and places that are the real Roman culture.
What others says about me? I’m always available for a chat, before, during and after your stay. What I’m trying to do through Housetoo and the people that works with me is to establish a real human connection between us and our guests.
Like all other Italians I really like pasta and football… As Roma is the team I support! During my spare time, I still love playing football despite my age with team joined more than 20 years ago.

Mirko was a great host. He organised for us to be picked up at the airport. Cristiano, our driver, was very nice and gave us loads of tips on where to get nice food and the best gelato. We were welcomed at the flat and got told about where the buses are and how to get best around. The flat was very clean and in a really good location transport wise. We can only recommend him.

The apartment was exactly as described. Located in a quiet area and near a bus stop in the city and a train station to the airport. The advice from Mirko for excursions were fantastic and Gabriella was also really helpful because the bus just drove a detour. So both very nice and helpful. We can recommend this apartment.

Mirko is am excellent host. He helped us book a taxi from the airport to the appartment. Two of his friends received and showed us the appartment and helped us with our questions. The appartment is in a nice neighborhood and is exactly as displayed in the pictures, although is kind of far from the main touristic attractions, there is a metro station really close and you can move fast with any problem. An excellent option for your stay in Rome!

Mirko’s description was very accurate. Apartment was nice, clean and perfect for two people who plan on spending the day touring around the city. It was a quick walk from the metro, which connects you to all the major tourist areas.
